Okay, I've searched everywhere for a solution but just can't find one. When I start ManiaPlanet It asks if I have an account already or would I like to make a new one. I can't even choose, My mouse wont pick up and I can't click anything.

Tried. I'm sorry for that but absolutely NO one was in the "ManiaPlanet" section.
Didn't work by the way..

I have the same issue. Also when I try to use the keyboard to navigate the menu, the selection jumps three or four places every time I press the down key, the up key doesn't work, neither does backspace and when I do manage to select the right box, I can't type anything into it.

I'm having this problem too if anyone finds a solution let me know.

Can you please specify your system specs / OS? Which keyboard are you using?

i7-3930k
16 gig of ram.
AMD 7970
Win7 Ultimate 64 bit.

The keyboard is an old Saitek Eclipse, the mouse, which is also not working, is a Razer Lachesis.

Can you try with another keyboard to check this?

Im also using a Saitek keyboard, but my mouse is a Logitech G500 which is also not working.

try to detach the keyboard for a while.
