Wow, just as I was about to come on and moan about how there were no league replays, constant crashing and a whole lot more suddenly its all fixed

How did you managed to get that quality?

I just cranked everything up to max in the "shoot video" thingy and then spent a long long time uploading it to youtube

I couldn't work out how to lower the resolution so the video came out at 1680 x 1050, I'd set the video codec to xvid single pass and gave that a quality setting of 2.

You can lower resolution, you can raise it too, just put in values in the resolution width and height boxes. Note that the game must be not fullscreen when you render the video, it didn't go to windowed mode automatically for you as it should?

Yes, I did try that and the game was in windowed mode as you say but whatever I entered into the height/width boxes it reset to my playing resolution as soon as I moved to the next field. Thanks but perhaps my install is bugged or its been fixed since I tried it last.

Its no real biggy as if I do this in the future I think I'll render as uncompressed avi to start at the full resolution and then use something easy like autogk to bring down the res and filesize for uploading or archiving.
