Bought a 3 pack of Shootmania - How to give?

Wanted to give some friends this game. Not sure where they're supposed to put the key in though. Any help?
I've not bought the game but I'll try and answer this. If they are already Canyon players and they have Maniaplanet they should be able to start Maniaplanet click on a station, choose Storm and enter key.
If they don't have Maniaplanet they will need a download link and once installed do the same thing.
This is just a guess but I'm pretty sure it's right.
