[Missing] Sign-Blocks - when will they come?

Hi all!

I just noticed that the SM Editor does not have any blocks (at least ONE) to add a sign or graphic like TM2 does have a lot of!?

Of course, noone should need arrows on SM-Maps, but we as a clan and several map-builder inside the clan do and would like to mark our maps with clanlogos and stuff like that.

So nadeo, when will there be some (at least ONE) block where we can add selfmade signs like in TM2?
Miss this very extremly in Shootmania !

Thanks a lot!

- In TrackMania we could find billboards on the maps, have you planned to do something like that for ShootMania?. It’d be an interesting feature for the sponsors of the tournaments.

Some blocs are made, but require some code, to welcome some custom visual like this. They are more designed for team logos than for billboards I would say. It is a balance we would like to move forward slowly, trying to keep a belief of a fight while opening to sponsors. Players will be able to make plug-in to have sponsors cycling in overlay for easier streaming. We will see where to go after these two things.

Thanks Lexino for that info and Link!

But it is still a shame that there isnt at least ONE block yet, where we can add our clan logo at our maps.
That means we have to edit ALL of our maps after this block finally will be patched ingame. :(

there was that MT thing in canyon where you could place an image in the track if walls ect..... it worked well but no p2p made it less attractive so maybe if it is fixed with the p2p system then we can place the logos around the maps
As per Ganjariders map TriggerFinger i believe it was called FxCameraMap
