My first maniascript endeavor.
After struggling to make symmetrical maps on my own, i decided to make this thing: http://www.mediafire.com/?9vsil9p20h4cwqa

v0.1:
This plugin will automatically update your map to be symmetrical in real-time. Right now there's four modes of symmetry: Mirror Half, Rotate Half, Rotate Quarter(great for Royal), and Mirror Quarter. I'm pretty sure that's all you'll ever need. You can also change whether the center of the map is 2x2, 2x1, or 1x1.
This is still v.1 so some blocks still don't mirror/rotate properly; namely any blocks larger than 1x1. I made it so if you use one of those blocks, the program will refrain from mirroring/rotating them (instead of misplacing them). Also, undo and redo are buggy, but terrain, road blocks, and delete all work fine!

Edit: v0.2:
Mirror Quarter mode now has sub-modes "perfect symmetry" or "imperfect symmetry." That probably doesn't make sense, but it should be easy to understand once you see what it does. Also fixed some bugs.
Still want to get offzone and macro-blocks to work.

How do we install plugins? Just dropping into 'Documents\ManiaPlanet\Scripts\EditorPlugins' doesn't add it to the plugins bar.

hmm...try clicking the "reload all scripts" button to the left of "Create." If that doesn't work, make sure the file is saved as filename.script.txt instead of just filename.txt. Or you could just create a new plugin and copy paste the code into it.

But i wonder if it's possible to change the center of the symmetry , like selecting the central indicator & put it in another place on the map to make small auto symmetrics areas. Could be great also make possible 2 or 3 symmetrics indicator that u could place where u want to make some inditicals areas anywhere u want O_ô
That's just hopes ,maybe it's not possible to make !!
