Is it *CERTAIN* that there will be only 3 environments?

Have Nadeo said
for SURE that there will be only
3 environments in TM2? Or is it still uncertain at this point? I am hoping there will be somewhere around 8 or maybe 12. It would be nice to have several environments to race in, even if it means spreading the same car across 3 or 4 environments. Can you imagine driving the Canyon Mustang car within a futuristic Sci-fi city? That would rock

The aim of Nadeo is to make at least 15 environments, so 5 for TM², 5 for SM and 5 for QM.
If they are very creative, the can create more worlds...

Yeah, the original hope shortly after the birth of maniaplanet was to make 15 enviros, but what I think they're planning on doing is getting 3 out each for SM, QM, and TM2, and then seeing where they're at.

hylis wrote:The business around maniaplanet should be simple. We expect to sell each 'Title' (one environment for a game, like TM² Canyon for example) separately at a reasonable price. All the titles could be use independently but they combine themselves into a single place: maniaplanet.
In fact, it is likely that users will buy planets (the new name of coppers in maniaplanet) With it, they would be able to acquire the different titles. This part is being worked out but it is quite close to what we did with coppers capable of buying TM United.
And to answer haenry, DLC for me is when a content is necessary to fill a space that exist virtually in the game. By making separate environments, I feel it is less like DLC, but more like separated content or standalone add-ons if you prefer. In fact is also content, but not here to complete an already existing one, but to add to it.

Here's the quote. So there'll be at least 9, their goal is 15.

Not as far as I know--considering that it is partly finished, it would be likely, but not guaranteed...

I think Nadeo should make those 5 environments. This is really important - it'll gather a lot of TM fans and even more racing fans (here; genre).
