Not impressed so far

Even tho this game is in beta format I find SM to be unresponsive, jumpy and the player graphic are very basic compared to the promotional trailers. It consists of running round like a lunatic shooting haphazardly and hoping the shot finds it's mark. I'll use it until the end of the beta to see if my impressions change but I can't really cant see me buying this as theres a lot of better 'shooters' out there with superior movement and graphics.

Unlike Trackmania 2, Shootmania needs an active community in every corner of the world to succeed, you can't play it with more then 100 ping. So when people come on the forums to offer feedback on the game, maybe try something other then being a jackass if you feel you need to respond.

he simply called EVERY aspect of game being bad... can it be considered as feedback? I fully understand when someone is writing down 5000 characters post with analyzing all the problems of the game and suggesting possible solutions, but simply saying that game sux in every way... I will be a jackass for such people :!:

His 'feedback' hints on a 'lot' of time spent in the game. Also, phrases like 'haphazard shooting' suggest that author of this topic indeed has an invaluable knowledge of inner workings - as in SM, as in meta-game.

If you're having responsiveness issues, you should play the game on lower ping servers. Rubberbanding is an issue on high ping servers. Saying that all you do is haphazardly shoot and hope it hits implies that you haven't put much time into the game to realise that doing that is very ineffective. I would recommend spending some time in-game in better conditions (ie, play on servers with lowest ping, not highest payers) before trying to make an argument.

I am NOT a 'he', I am a 'she'  I did NOT say it sux, I said it was "unresponsive, jumpy and the player graphic are very basic compared to the promotional trailers." and that I wasn't impressed with it. My opinion and no more. Many thanks for those that gave me advice instead of shouting me down
