hi folks,

as you may see in the headline, the game shootmania minimizes on its own randomly while playing.
When trying to maimize it again, it's just not working.
I can see the ingame mouse cursor and hear the sound of the game, i can even move and shoot while still seeing my desktop. Shootmania is the only game which does that kind of weird things.
I nearly tried everything like updating my videocard drivers with whql certified ones and betas, reinstalling my videocard, changing the video settings and even installing older drivers which all did NOT help.

Any other ideas to solve this problem are appreciated

I'm using

Windows 7 64 bit Professional
Geforce GTX 260
Intel Q9550 Quad Core@3,4 GHZ
4 GB Ram

Are you sure you don't hit some special keys while fighting by error?
Windows+M for example?

im sure i do not hit any key by accident, even if i would i should be able to return to the game shouldn't i, since any other game i minimize on purpose or accidently maximizes afterwards without any problems i suppose the failure elsewhere.

since it's german and pretty much writing i will only translate it if somebody else got the same problem looking for help.

but to let the devs know it wasn't a problem with shootmania in general but with the files of my videocard driver in a windows folder

I'm having the same problem, please let me know how you resolved it.

the nvidia drivers have to be uninstalled and remaining nVidia files have to be completely removed.
you can use a driver cleaner tool for this after uninstall, but there are various articles in the net.

I've done a complete PC format a couple of days ago, and have fully updated the drivers, and the problem still occures.

ya the problem is that it did work well for me since today, the problem occurred again so I'm still looking for help again so the former posted "solution" doesn't work as good as I thought it would
