The title porbably says enough, I think being able to place 3D Text into the environment would increase the possibillity of stuff one could do with the Media Tracker by quite a bit.

In case this is added here are the (partly obvious) must-have features:
- X,Y and Z axis position
- X,Y and Z axis rotation
- X,Y and Z axis scale
- abillity to anchor the Text to players or the camera
- Text colour
- Transparency
- Toggle: Should Depth of Field affect the Text or not?
- Toggle: Should Colour changes affect the Text or not?

Other stuff that could be added that isn't as important:
- Text Glow (similar to the light around players in the game indicating what team they on)
- Glow colour
- Text shadow toggle (Option for the text to have a shadow)

Here's the thing this could be used for:
- Placing text infront of or behind objects
- Attaching text to players making it look kind of like the people in Ghost Recon games (from what I have seen)
- Build stuff out of text. Yes, one could (for films created with the Media Tracker) build houses, etc out of Text. Want cubes flying in the air? Scale a " | " to a cube and place it in the sky.

I don't know, but one could ask the same thing with a lot of the things one can already do with the Media Tracker
