Is there a way to change an in-progress map you're working on from say sunset to nighttime??

The only way I've been able to do it so far is to build my map, select all the blocks in the map and save that selection as a custom block, then scrap the map and create a new map with the appropriate daylight setting and then import the custom block.

This cant be the most efficient way of changing daylight surely??

Cant we have a button that switches daylight mode between sunrise, daytime, sunset and night time?

when selecting a track in tracklist before editing, hold Ctrl while clicking.

Press Ctrl+Click when you select a map to edit and you can change the mood and mod.

but really? they thought that was the best way to do that? and not put a hint or some form of notification that you can actually do that? Or, you know the normal GUI thing is a 'button'!?

Yeah, unfortunately, it is one of the many "hidden" features of the editor.

Ctrl Z and to undo and ctrl S to save the map, for example, are another shortcuts that do not appear on the UI.

still remember "ghosts" to make a Nadeo track... also many hidden buttons in MT.

One of the most useful in the MT is ctrl + click on key, that duplicates a key. (especially useful for cameras)

Ctrl key controls the pitch of the camera.

But Alt key for the snapshot preview in the map editor.

Of course i also know all of that (NOT!), so i won't mind at all if you continue to post these things....
