....ok im pretty annoyed that i am now unable to change my graphic settings beyond fast shader quality, nice and very nice now just have N/A beside them. before i was able to set my shader to very nice and i would get average 20fps... why has this new update of the launcher disabled my ability to play on better graphic settings -.-

I also need to be able to set the shader to 'Nice' because otherwise my TrackMania car shows no front lights on night maps! And the lights are very needed to find the way. TrackMania goes from bad to worse...

i just hope theres a solution, my graphics card is more than capable to run these settings... i just want to know why it wont let me

what gfx card are u running ?
could it be the case that u use a laptop with 2 (onboard and dedicated gfx card ?)

yes, its a macbook pro with an intel onboard and nvidia GT 330m but ive never had this issue before

perhaps you were running on low battery and the mac disabled the hungry extra 3D chips?

I have only one video card installed that is capable to run TrackMania² fast enough with 'nice' shader quality setting.
It was locked in the launcher after one of the latest game updates.

Nadeo please undo these changes to make the game playable also on night maps!

Possibly your machine also has new video drivers by automatic update which could explain a change in the configuration.
save a copy of the file Default.SystemConfig.Gbx, delete it, run the launcher and restore your settings.
The shader setting is not locked if you select custom video configuration and preset "none".

no my battery is being charged, graphics switching does not work on windows. graphics is also set to max performance.

and yes this happened after the shootmania beta in the maniaplanet 2 update

Could you give your graphic dedicated memory amont please ?
(search for "[Sys] Gpu Memory Video MBytes" in the game log)
