It isn't known yet.
But I guess the size will be like in TMUF (which is 32x32x32, I at least think so - though I only got 31 for the height, see post #4 in this topic) OR up to 60x60x60 or something. Maybe it's even variable, like in TMO. (which would be awesome in my opinion)
Fact is that Nadeo didn't give any information about yet. (Or did I overread something in the Centralised News topic? If so, please correct me ;))

But I think 1000x500x1000 WON'T be in the game, it's just way too big for many computers and would make the majority of them crash immediately. And it would take way too long to load a track built with such a size.
(And I don't want to drive on a track which takes more than ten minutes or even an hour to complete :P)

smw, you are wrong about the size of TMUF editor or at least the Stadium:

32x32x30. But honestly, I'm also surprised somehow.

About the editor in TM2, I think (according to the size in Stadium) it must be at least 256x256x120. It's a good, optimal size of the editor and it definetly isn't too small, cause - as you've seen in the trailer - this environment needs a lot of space.

I didn't say that the size of the area which you can build in in the TMUF editor is 60x60x60. I said that 60x60x60 OR the size of the TMUF editor would be something which would be plausible for the TM² editor in my opinion. I know that the TMUF editor is 32x32x32. (Though I only got 31 for the height somehow, IDK why)

By the way, I edited my other post so you know what I meant. ;)

Ok, maybe 31 :D However, I said:

What do you mean with '...or at least the Stadium...', if not the maximum size of the tracks in there? The size of the Stadium tracks is exactly the same as in the other environments... =/

I meant, that - according to what you said - in the United tracks it may be 60x60x60, but rather not in Stadium and I was right. I just wanted to make a small proof. But I will check the size of those United tracks and let you know soon. :)

About the size of the stadium: it's 32x32x32. The only reason you only get to 31 is because you didn't count the layer below the grass. This is where grass/water/dirt is placed. In other environments this is where you'd add you tunnels. I also think Stadium is the smallest environment, because Bay is 64x64x32 (I think, but it's definitively bigger). As for TM2 I hope you will be able to build 128x128x64. There is no reason to build further than that, because it's not really necessary to have such a big space when you only build 40-seconds-fullspeed-tracks. But with the current speed of the cars and the size of the blocks I'm pretty sure it's bigger than 32x32x32 =)

Longer and wider than stadium would be highly appreciated, but i don't see any reason to get higher.

Alright, I take everything back, forget what I said ^^

And yes, it would be really nice if you could build bigger tracks in TM² ;)
I don't really care about the height as well, the same height as in Stadium would be enough already. ;)
What's really important is the maximum width and depth of the track ;)
128x128x64 would be perfect though ^^
