Hello,

So i've been having this problem since about 6+ months.
The bug I've been experiencing is the same as reported in this thread: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic.php?f=293&t=7819

- Quite randomly, the game crashes(Freezes in my case) when you press either 'return' or 'delete', in order to either respawn, retire or chat.

So usually it crashes just when I want to chat, it also happens a lot during map changes when it's loading. The whole game is frozen and the only way I can get out is if I press ctrl alt del, and then killing the process. Starting Maniaplanet over to kill it doesnt work because the screen is also black in the new maniaplanet process.

For that reason I unfortunately don't have Crashlog.txt files (maybe because the game doesnt really crash but only stops responding).

Also when I start maniaplanet over after the game froze, sometimes (like 1/4 of the times) it is stuck on 'scanning titles' for about 2 or 3 minutes (in the startup screen).

This problem is annoying me to no end and has caused me to reinstall the game 3 times (bringing new problems for which I will open a new thread) and I have updated all my drivers.

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M/ 1GB DDR3
Motherboard: MSI GE620/FX620DX E16GIMS
HDD(s): 750 GB 7200 RPM

Peripherals:

Mouse

PS3 controller via usb

Thanks tcq, and I have no crashlog.txt, I do have freezedetect.txt but I heard that isnt useful, or is it?

Ofcourse I do have normal logs, but they seem to stop right before the game actually freezes (if I look at the timecodes)
Which log should I upload, or is useful?

When is Nadeo going to fix this?

It still happens a couple of times a day. Really annoying, and I can think of 10 other players who experience the same.

Can't believe this is being ignored.

Information about how reporting a crash:

1. Crash reporting
Although this is not the final version and possible significant changes are going to be made to the game but It's very important that if you notice a crash, you report it.
Make sure you report what you were doing inside the game before it crashed.
Report the crash using the Code bb tags to copy your crash report of the game there and post its url in your newly created crash topic or attached in your topic the crashlog file located in:

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\*MyUsername*\My documents\ManiaPlanet
Vista and Seven: C:\Users\*MyUsername*\Documents\ManiaPlanet

Please also try to repeat your crash to check if it's a systematic crash.

Although I highly doubt I can get crashlogs because of the following reason stated in the opening post:
