I haven't heard anything about the PAX map making competition after I submitted my maps.
Here is a link to the contest http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13344
On there it says "The twenty-five (25) finalists will be posted on Maniaplanet Forums ( http://forum.maniaplanet.com/) on or about Tuesday, August 28, 2012."
...and as I was writing this topic, I found the page -_-
Thinking it was going to be posted under a NEW topic.( or by email ..) my bad
I'm in the runner ups though! As sadly, only a few people entered the competition...

More people definitely should have contributed to this contest, as it would have been fun to have so many new maps to choose from.
I wonder if Nadeo can post a new topic regarding this competition, and maybe even make our maps downloadable to the public to get more attention to these map makers. :)
What does everyone else think?

I really hope they do another contest, even if the prize is not quite so extravagant. I honestly got a little lazy and didn't finish the map I was working on for this one.

I got lucky that when I was trying to test one of my maps that it wouldn't work.. So i just put PAX before it and decided to put it in the competition. I managed to make another 2 before the time was up :D
I do hope the maps go out to the public.
Anyone know where the stream is of PAX, would love to see some pros playing on my maps ;)

Entered it, wasn't mentioned or anything.

They didn't accept 25 people total like they implied, clever wording made sure of that.

There was certain rules that needed to be met to enter. Maybe something like that?

Hmm, that's odd..
Even the one that made sure nobody else really "Saw" the map?
