Hi all!

I searched the forum and also the sticky threads but havn't found an answer to my question:
Where do i get an originial/standard Joust.Script from?!

May anyone know it or can help?
I would just need the original script, not an already modded one. Thanks!

As Elite and Heroes, the original script of Joust is not currently available to the public. But maybe it will be the case in the future.

so where and from whom can i request the script?
(You may send me a PN if you do not want to give that info to everyone in public, thx!)

Would need it to move some parts of the standard interface to different places to make space for my own interface.
(e.g. i would like to move the waiting list to another position, and so on.)

So the original unmodded joust script would be very helpful, thank you very much!

It would be smart of you to read before you write.
Eole clearly states that the Joust script is NOT available to the public (which includes you).

I guess that small scripts changes on Elite/Heroes/Joust is the exact reason why those script are not public, so that players recognize them and know that they are not playing a modified clone of them, and are used to play the real mode and not clones : that is important, essentially for competitions.
So if i'm not wrong, what you want to do is exactly why they are not public

Well, we have the ModeScriptSettings that can be changed during the game.

So if the position of the Waitinglist etc. could be defined by a ModeSetting variable, this would be perfect and the gameplay and script files do not get touched. That way server controllers could arrange the windows to fit their needs.

Compromise?

Dude, chill down, whats wrong with you?

It would be also very smart from you to first think (thats the part using your brain) and then to NOT chat up with me just for fun (without a real reason or just because you wanna offend me cause you dont like me, why ever).

And i really do not have to justify me about you and my requests. There are things happening behind your mind and back that you would never imagine and you don't know about - and never will, if you like it or not.

It is fact that the Joust, Elite and Heroes scripts are (whyever and however) are already be used by some users and therefore ... even if you can't believe it ... are inofficial available for public. BAM ... no magic and no big secret. It is also fact that nadeo things about releasing the scripts officialy sometime when they think it is time to.

But instead of using a script without permission or without the knowledge what could happen then i rather ask in public and in the forum to get useful infos and helpful feedback.

Sorry, but i can refrain comments like yours as they are unproductive and only made to provoke - whyever this should be in your interest. So ... thank you very much for your offend, but i sadly need to refuse it

Thanks for all the feedback and solutions a lot of users sent me by private messages.
So i already own a joust script since a while so i can finally do what i mentioned in this thread.
And also the AutoModeSettings Plugin (for SMART) is a perfect solution for some of my legitimate requests or for people who also want to modify the Joust Mode without using the script option!

I surely know all the reasons why there isnt a script officialy available for joust, elite and heroes, and all those reasons are eligible! Nadeo of course hasn't any problem with some small script changes as i wanna make them, not at all. They just wanna make sure the scripts are not used to cheat or modify them in a way nadeo does NOT want it. And that is absolutley ok and comprehensible. Thats why they are (yet) not available for public, right.

So please dont send me PN's to send you the joust script (meant not you Slig, but to everyone who reads it and also would like to have a joust script). I won't, sorry, as there are too many risks someone could use it for "cheats" or modifications nadeo wouldn't allow or like to see.

I am using it only to modify some things in legal matter and move some UI-elements, that's it and thats why i asked for it here. I am sure nadeo will release the script for public sometime or bring up an other safer solution soon as they know about the requests from the community about joust, elite and heroes.

So in the end the "problem" or request is already positivly solved since yesterday
But thanks anyway to all reasonable comments and feedbacks in the meanwhile.

Just to be clear on the subject, for the time being, any Joust/Heroes/Elite unencrypted scripts people can found are not distributed by Nadeo.
If you launch a server with one of those script, it won't be considered as an official server and won't appear in the official Joust/Heroes/Elite title pack and ladder.
We might give the scripts freely in the future, but not now.
