Problems with account (trackmania canyon)

Haven't played the game in some good months. Today i wanted to start playing it again but to my surprise, when i wanted to start the game it told me that i do NOT own it o_O
I've tried to enter the key again but it told me "the key is in use"!

What the hell is going on? Why was my access to the game removed?!

They answered eventually and told me to contact Ubisoft. I have done so and now i am waiting for an answer ...

The key was a gift from a friend, no idea where he bought it from, had no reason to ask him.

Anyway, shouldn't this "Confirmation of order #1620216" be enough to check what is going on?

Just an update, i got an answer, they've asked for a print screen for proof, gave it to them (4 days ago) and they've since ignored me. Nice customer support.

If they ask you for a screenshot, they should reply soon and be able to help you. Please be patient :)

Just one thing that came into my mind. It might be a dumb question but if you played the game already some time ago with the key you got by your friend, then you can't use the key again because this one is already connected to the account that you registered yourself with.

Did you try to simply login with the account data (without entering the key)?
