I have an suggestion:

Why can't we make a personal playlist? That would be a great feature in TM² because you can hear your favourite music and not the music from servers.
Short and simple suggestion, I hope you like it

In that case you can also use your own favorite musicplayer, i don't see nay advantage in designing an ingame feature for that...

well easy start and stop ingame,so I don't need to go to desktop when I don't want music anymore..
It's just more handy and easier and it needs time to go to desktop and back..

but actually I think it's still useful to have an player ingame, maybe one for editor one for gaming...^^

I like this idea, make a playlist in-game for racing online, one for editor etc.

Couldn't this be done through a plugin? As far as i read somewhere in the forum, it should be possible to create client side maniascript? Maybe you could write a plugin which uses a defined directory where you put in the music and then script a simple player?

But maybe maniascript does not work the way i think it can work
