[Display] Full Eyefinity / Nvidia Surround support

Good morning, what i would like to see in tm2 and the others is proper support for eyefinity and other multi monitor plus solutions.
It works alright in TM at the moment but the hud is stretched terribly so this would more be a question of would there be a customisable HUD, Even it if its only a toggle like display on centre screen only or stretch.
Not sure if many other people actually play TM in mulit monitor setups but is a suggestion.

Would be nice to see this working properly on nvidia surround, but would definately want the hud and the "normal" part of screen on the main monitor, cant stand bezel in the way of the action ...
...allthough this might give us a distinct advantage over those without the extra vision ...something to consider.
Would be nice tho eh
Personally i would like to see dx11 and tesselation featured more than this, but any feature is a good feature eh ^^ (EDIT: posted that as a suggestion incase it's not allready a feature).

That's a suggestion for all games, so I moved the topic to the maniaplanet section

In an IRC chat Hylis already said that customizable HUDs would be really tricky because server plugins need some of the HUD space too. But maybe this is a special casel.

(TM 2 Stadium player here; apologies if these comments don't apply to other games, but the thread was moved to MP)
A real shame that this still hasn't been addressed. 6 years on, monitor prices and footprints have plummeted, and so has support for multi-displays on most graphics cards. I'm guessing that a lot of 'serious' gamers out there have multi-monitor displays now.
I've only just upgraded from 2 (for programming tasks) to 3 (mostly for gaming) monitors. But the difference is huge. And TM could very easily be a showcase for this. It's simply stunning. But the almost unreadable text gets close to ruining it.
I don't really understand why the stretch happens. Surely, you set the size of the canvas and then render the fonts/UI on to it? What seems to be happening is almost the opposite; render the fonts/UI onto a set canvas size and then stretch them to fit onto the display? (I don't program games yet, so I don't have much background here. But I don't see the same thing happening outside TM.)
TM turbo has a 'silver' support for multi-monitors on
wsgf, but that is exactly the same. Actually, it's worse; I can't even get that to work in full screen mode.
Soon it'll all be 4k (at least) for PC users, and given the current record it'll take ManiaPlanet another few decades to catch up with that too. Start looking ahead, devs, or you soon be looking back and wondering why it all went wrong for the franchise.
