Hello everyone.

Since I'm playing ShootMania, I noticed that the gamemode ShootMania Heroes is not really played by people. There multiple reasons for that.

First of all, everyone must wait until the servers have 10 players in order to start a game while the Elite mode requires only 6 players. Thinking that way, players will mostly play Elite rather than Heroes.

Second, teamplay is really important in this gamemode, and most players will leave the game because their nucleus carrier is not good or rushing as hell and making his team loses.

I create this topic in order to promote ShootMania Heroes because I find this gamemode very interesting and is really funny when playing with some friends (via teamspeak or mumble for example)

That's why I propose to players to meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 20h00 GMT in order to play ShootMania Heroes.

For the one who knows the mode, it will be the occasion to play it again knowing that people will come on the servers during this day.

For the others, it will be the occasion to discover this gamemode if there were never somebody while you tried to play. Please spread the word and make the most people come to play ShootMania Heroes and having fun all together.

Just reply here if you're coming alone or with friends. If you find this is a great idea. If you had fun playing one of these game session. If you want to play it back. Anything you want about ShootMania Heroes and the time you have playing it.

I think it's a good idea. My PC's power supply is being swapped at the moment though (died after 1 year of its 3 year guarantee), so I can only play from December.

Never got to try out Heroes because of lack of people there. Your proposal sounds nice indeed. I'll try to get some more people.

So, after tremendous efforts of finding 5 opponents, we did get to play a couple of maps (waiting yet more to find 3 for the second map).

I have to say that the mode is very fun and intense, but it certainly lacks attention, even though this topic exists...

I'm sorry. For my part. I was working until now. That will happen some weeks.

I knew that it wouldn't work at the first try. Maybe because this section of the manaiplanet forum is not the most read by the players. The idea for me, is to find team leaders and forums in order to promote these game sessions a step further.

I'm not giving up and really want to bring people on this gamemode. That's why I propose something twice a month and not every day, else things will not get better.

I don't think I'll be ready to announce to a lot of team for the next session. But maybe the third one will be better.

So don't give up guys. And thanks forgot10 for you impressions. I'm glad you had fun, even if you weren't 10.
