I never had this problem until the new beta 2 update. Basically the cars are too dark, offfline and online. The tracks are the same although not as noticeable but the cars are like blobs of blackness.It's like the contrast is completely down on the cars or something. It's really stupid looking and off putting. wth?

No other program or website has this issue on my PC. My display settings have not changed for anything else. Is there some way of fixing the display settings in ManiaPlanet?

The thumbnails are normal but the car is completely dark.

Edit: I've just completed the update on my laptop and the dark car issue is the same. So how do I raise the contrast on the cars?

Exactly same problem here to..
The Aussie green and gold/yellow car is more black and orange/yellow...
Visually, this looks terrible..

What settings are you running the game on and what graphics card and driver version are you using?

This stuff is important so the devs can try to duplicate the bug.

So the graphics card in my pc and the one in my laptop are making the cars go black? I don't understand how but anyhoo here we go and hopefully this is the right thing you need to know.

All maniaplanet settings are set to minimum on both machines

PC = NVIDIA GeForce9200 2.75ghz

Laptop = Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MM 2.17ghz

Considering it's two different GPUs it seems unlikely of course.

It looks like others are experiencing the same thing too. There's a post in the French forums about it.

I have the same problem here, but, Is it a bug, or Nadeo wants it?

Could you post also link to the wrong car skins ?

I do not know what you mean. The issue is constant. It's not an intermitent error that pops up every now and again. All cars are black or rather the contrast is completely down on them for some reason as you can see in the pics above at all times. I do not know where to get a "log file" from.

brightness, not contrast... log files are in documents\maniaplanet.
