[Fixed] [B2.0] Railgun lags

Hey,
I have a huge problem since the release of the BETA 2, in short words:
I freeze when i'm shooting with the railgun (attack side or railgun platforms).
This is really horrible and it happends on every server and every titles/mods with the Railgun (elite xp too)
The problem appears 20/30 sec after joining the server (or map restart/change), then everytime i shot i have a freeze, my ping reach 400ms for 2 seconds than come back to 50ms until next shot.
Some other people suffer of this lags problem but cant say whats the link between our lag community
(everyone is from an other country, has other gears, other OS, other internet provider, ...)

Some feedback from Nadeo with a fix would be very appreciated considering while playing Elite attack side the game becomes unplayable due to when you fire a rail you lag to oblivion. This only started happening after the Beta 2 update.

Since the last update, it seems that it's lagging so much only when talking on TS3 or mumble
Railgun while talking -> 500ms during microphone activated
Railgun whitout talking TS/mumble -> 150ms during 0,5sec (and no big freezes)
Tried old jack headset instead of USB, same thing

Since it is obviously caused by some network issue, the lag is worsen by any additional activity on the network.
Parallel downloads or any kind of stream put some load hence reduce the remaining bandwith for ingame events.
Since the shooting affects all the players more or less directly, this action might be a synchronisation point, where all other clients need to be informed about the shooter's direction, the target and the start of the shoot.
Of course I don't know the internals of the implementation, but this sounds quite logical to me.
Perhaps Nadeo should implement a constant data stream to all clients to reserve the necessary bandwith, but this has also its disadvantages.
Did you see any other players connecting to the server shortly befor your shoot, or was it relatively quiet regarding this?
Could you try to reduce the audio quality on your chat system, or give it a lower priority (so it just does not have crackling sound)?
Please also check if your network drivers are up to date and if you have the proper settings according to your internal network and internet connection.
Just one example: DSL uses packets with a smaller size than of regular Ethernet frames on your local network. Therefore the data contained in the Ethernet packets has to be split into two or more DSL packets and repacked again at the connection between your ISP and the actual Internet connection which is working again with TCP/IP over Ethernet or some faster network layers.
If your PC is not directly connected to your DSL modem then Windows might not know of this and then your router would have to do more work than necessary, which might also result in lag.

kk, i'm doing some tests regarding this.
TS3, quality 10 -> upload: 6ko/s* => freeze like hell when talking (500~2000ms during microphone activated)
TS3, quality 1 -> upload: 1,5ko/s* => freeze smoothly (200ms during 1,5s)
For the moment the problem isnt that huge since the last update cause the BIGFREEZES only appear when talking and no need to talk during attack side, but you guys still have to work on it:
- 150ms during 0,5s (whitout talking) is still ineccaptable
- Def side: railgun platforms : cant give any informations
No player connected during tests, no // downloads, etc..
I'm playing on wifi with bad connection but i'll not change for this bug.
I respect a lot the work of developpers but since the problem never happend in beta1 i'll not change my way to play or internet provider or ethernet connection.
* Uploads checked with NetLimiter 3, maxupload of my connection is 35ko/s,
I normaly starts to lag when uploading files with 15ko/s

Nevermind what was said,
on some servers the problem is still big
whitout TS, rail shots -> 300ms & freeze for seconds
(TS talks are amplifying a lot the situation)
+ The little freezes makes you not reload instantly when hitting a rocket(+0) so its really borring since you cant disable this option
I'll check other servers soon

Btw. you better not stick too much to the behavior of the beta 1, since still many things can change.
