Markers and horn

Sometimes, when we use the horn to display a cross visible by other players, the cross is automatically combined with a marker.
But it seems random to me:
- a player who has no marker displayed can sometimes see a cross combined with a marker
- a player can sometimes see a cross combined with a marker from the opposite team
- a cross can be combined with a marker even when the markers are far away from the cross
Does anyone know exactly how does it work?

Hey there,
I did recognize this behavior, too. But only in jailbreak so far.
I added a screenshot to show the problem.
There are markers on the poles intended to show hints, but when you "ping" with ctrl there is an additional marker shown whose source is unknown: =/
The markers have timestamps (i edited the script) which show that the weird marker is created far earlier than the normal ones.
It would be nice if you are able to modify the style of the "ping", but in jailbreak it's not intended as far as i know.

I asked this question to try to solve the problem in Jailbreak
but i don't see what code in Jailbreak may cause that.

Could it be because I create too many different markers? (The number of players in jail is displayed on the marker)

the number of different markers shouldn't matter, as you aren't modifying the style of the ping cross.. it seems to be a bug for me!
btw. it happens in my new script, too.. really no idea.. all i'm doing is setting the .Hud3dMarkers of players and spectators..
