Hey,

i tried to save a macroblock of a whole map with about 5000C. But everytime i click on save the game just crashs, even when selecting smaller parts of the map the game crashs (before hitting save!).
But it worked with another map which has 5000C as well.
I tried to close every other running program to get more free memory. But even having 5 gigabyte memory doesn't help...
Is there a special block combination which causes the crash? or am i just unlucky today?

i somehow found the source of the crash... I had a 2x1 spawn (stone) on the map, when selecting it with the copy&paste tool the game crashed. after removing the block i was able to save the whole map as macroblock.



Edit: Crash happens with other blocks, too. Sometimes even when selecting simple high terrain... -.-

I have checked your log files: it seems that the crash is caused by an old large spawn block, just as you said. I suppose that the map you loaded was an old map (tell me if I am wrong). I have fixed the code, so after next update, these old blocks won't cause crash anymore. Before that, you can simply replace these old blocks by their new version (just remove them and place them again in the editor) to avoid the crash.

Which blocks? Also blocks which create 2 big castle pillars down to the ground, just like the large spawn block? Or others?
And the game don't crash when I select terrain... How do you do that?

You're absolutely right. I tried to save the blocks out of quite old maps.
