[B2.1c][Dedicated] ManiaLink button press returns car to CP

Everytime I press a button (ManiaLink button, provided by a server controller) on a server, it causes my car to return to the last checkpoint.
If there is no checkpoint before it, it will place the car back on the startingline, starting the count-down again.
This also happens when you want to close a window just before you can start, thus causing to reset the count-down.
