Unfortunately dedimania is not working anymore after installing the B3RC1 serverversion.
The following message appears: [02/10,19:27:42] [Dedimania] Unable to get validation replay for xxxx: skipped 50646 (15065,17608,26036,30128,33387,40576,44666,50646)

It reminds me of the bug we had before http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... +dedimania , and therefore i think it is dedicated-related.

It seems that in the newer version the ReplayParser as mentioned in the linked topic above, isnt working properly anymore.
I hope Xymph is able to find a nice solution for it

Same for our server

Looks like a bug in the dedicated server. When calling the GetValidationReplay method on a login that finished a race, the dedicated returns error message "Unable to retrieve validation data."

Nothing I can do about that, except report it in the beta forums.

Is it possible to do the same as before by disabling the entire 'if' block in the functions dedi_get_vreplay and dedi_get_greplay in the plugin, or would cause that some trouble at the dedimania side for Slig?

Its not certain of course if there will be an update of the dedicated soon, and if there is an update it will of course not be certain that this bug will be fixed. As long as it isnt fixed dedi's wont work as they should, so a workaround could be handy if possible.

I'm not sure (been a long time since I talked about this with Slig) but AFAIK the Dedimania masterserver requires a validation replay for the best record submitted in the set at the end of each track. And a ghost replay if the record is expected to be a new #1 -- I just checked that SaveBestGhostsReplay suffers from the same critical bug (which I suppose kind of makes sense, as bugs go ).

It's up to Slig to decide what to do with that, but personally I wouldn't like to sacrifice anti-cheat checks and the replay-download features (that players paid a donation for).

Well, that makes it all the more important that it is fixed.

The fact that saving replays in the client is also broken now (same bug there I guess) makes it more likely that it will, I hope.

I agree that it is indeed a big sacrifice to just give up the anti-cheat checks and the replay-download features.
Therefore i hope the dedicated-bug will be fixed in the next update. With a bit of luck there will be one released before the open beta of sm starts, otherwise patience will be the key-word

the Server Version 2013-02-09 (not 2013-02-09b) works great with dedimania and the new RC3 Client.
Downgrade the Server and it will work.

Only the 02-09 version doesnt have lp, so its a choice between dedi or lp

So we should install 2 Servers one for Ladder and the other for Dedi
I think Nadeo will react soon.
