map creation with spawn points//goals [mode battle]

So, I just finished my first map. I have the spawn points set, the goals set, and the shadows computed. the validate flag is green, but when I click it nothing happens. Halp.

You just need to save your map now and all is finished. If the flag is green it's validated

ok, next question. I've created a server to test it out but the goals aren't activating? does it need other players?
Creating Battle style maps? Goals not working...

I've created 2 battle style maps, but the goals aren't working. None of them light up or activate. I even have the 3rd engage point set for battle waves. I have the spawn points and goals setup to be equal, and the flag is green saying it is validated, but it doesn't work. Any Suggestions?
