Hello everyone,

Before the last patch this problem wasnt happening. But after the patch, its impossible for me to play on a same server with my brother.

What happens? Hes on the wired connection and im on the wireless side, but if we join the same server the snapsshot and ping just blows up and goes into the thousands. Its so weird because it only happens when we join the same server, and the weird thing is that it didnt happened before the last patch. Anyone with a similiar problem before? Can someone help us here?

thanks for your answer! can you please explain me like step by step how to do this? where do i get this information? Im a noobie on this stuff

Are you talking about the bandwith setting in the launchers configuration or actually capping the bandwith usage on the computer itself?

But Castro10, if TMarc is talking about lowering the bandwith setting for the game, you do that in Maniaplanet Launcher. Just click on 'configure' and change the 'Network Speed' to something lower.

Chose user defined bandwith in the launcher settings, and on the advanced configuration tab,
enter less than half the data rates for each upload and download (half because you have 2 PC, and less because of some additional overhead).

well, we both did this "enter less than half the data rates for each upload and download " in the configuration thing of maniaplanet, and problem is still there...

Of course this applies only if you have only ManiaPlanet running.
Any other application like chat, downloads in the background, etc. must also be included in the calculation.
Then you now might try 1/4 of the available total bandwith for each setting

If you use custom player skin make sure it has locator.
Also you can try: go in game launcher advanced options in PeerToPeer tab and uncheck all boxes there to see if it fixes problem.
