Hello,
i've got a acer notebook with a nvidia gt650 (2000MB) and an intel graphics 4000 and it work with the nvidia optimus technology.
And the game is everytime showing, that i've only 136mb graphic memory (maybe the graphic memory of the intel graphics 4000), when i play with the nvidia gt650.
I had try to go into the nvidia setup and choosed that the maniaplanet launcer and the maniaplanet exe have to launch with the nvidia gt650, but there are always 136 mb grapic memory.
So I've got a good graphic card, but no performance.
All of my settings are on low or very low.

On TrackMania United it does work perfectly. Good performance and it shows nvidia gt650 and 2000 mb.
So why works it on the older United and not on the new Maniaplanet
Please fix this bug and write me an answere, if you noticed my bugreport.

I recently purchased TrackMania2 Canyon on steam and after downloading and attempting to launch it i get an error complaining about not enough video memory.

The laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce 650m 2Gb graphics card, and an Intel i73632QM processor. The laptop uses NVIDIA Optimu, so I wonder if that could be an issue.

I included a screenshot of gpu-z in case that would be of any help.

Did you check if the nvidia game control knows about ManiaPlanet?

Check if you can disable the Intel Chipset in the BIOS/UEFI to force to use the GPU.

@ jonthekiller, you can't disable the intel graphic chip. It's a part of the processor. It is also disabled in the bios do change it. In the bios of notebook you can always do not much.
I was in the nvivdia setup and selected, that the maniaplanet.exe and maniaplanetlauncer.exe have to start with the nvidia graphic card. I have to do that, because without changing that, the game starts with the intel graphic chip.
So i have tried to change it in the nvidia setup, but the mania planet launcer shows only: Nvidia gt650 / 136mb.
With track mania united i do the same, but the tmu launcer shows: nvidia gt650 /2000mb.
I have also tried with other clan members, to find a solution, but nothing helps.
So please ubisoft fix the problem. On track mania united does it work, why not on maniaplanet.
