When I first saw the boats in TMUF-Island and Coast, I also thought "where does the regatta start"?

Btw. the toughest regatta is apparently the "Vendee Globe", which takes place every two years.
A couple of a dozen solist ships start in France from Sables d'Olonee, sail around the globe and return there.
This years winner Francis Gabart made it in 78 days
