How do I unbound controller keys

Picked the game up on steam today, lot of fun, played for 4 hours straight.

One issue though, how do I unbind controller keys? I'm using a 360 controller which I have bound fine but I also have a bunch of flightsim controllers and the game keeps seeing them causing control issues. Really don't want to and shouldn't have to unplug them every time, is there any way to unbind keys completely, even editing a text file etc?

Also want to set my A key on my 360 controller to be my Teamspeak PTT but again can't unbind it so I have to set it to horn and I'm honking every time I key up lol

Any help is much appreciated.

just rebound another key two times to the same input, then the second key is gone.

You'll find some controls in that little grey Config Box that comes up before ManiaPlanet starts up .. press CONFIG then ADVANCED button ... theres tabs at top.

Also, in the game ... go to you PROFILE and then INPUTS and follow info

Sorry I can't be more help, I use a Ps2 controller. Good luck

That'll work for the 360 and my TS PTT thanks, however for the other controllers, I need to make the program not recognize any axis, as my rudder pedals, throttles etc. for flightsim dont' sit perfectly centered as they aren't a joystick.

I'm using steam so I don't get the initial launcher program either it goes right into the main screen basically.

I'm having this exact issue!

This is a MUSTFIX nadeo.

Just create a button that clears ALL mappings.

Ya that seems like a fairly standard feature in games lol. It is rather needed.

LOL....good luck getting Nadeo to fix this problem. :roflol:

It has been there since the very first Trackmania game. They won't even acknowledge that there is a controller mapping issue! They simply don't care. They cater this game to only keyboard players and seem completely oblivious to the hundreds of thousands of PC players out there who have multiple USB controllers hooked up to their gaming PCs.

They seem to think that none of the racing or flight simulator guys would be interested in playing an arcade racing game, so they simply ignore us. It's really really sad. Every other racing game on the planet I know of has MUCH better controller configuration support than Trackmania, and allow you to clear all controller mappings and map any controller to any function you want.

This game however, has a mind of its own, and proceeds to just pick and assign whatever random analog axis it wants to the steering and pedal inputs, and there's nothing the player can do about it. It's terrible!

Nadeo/Hylis, I'm sorry if this comes off as harsh criticism, but enough is enough. This game's controller configuration menu is very outdated and should be re-written from the ground up. Those of us with multiple USB hardware connected are screwed. Please allow us an option to clear ALL mappings and re-write this part of the game so that the game DOES NOT automatically assign or bind any unwanted analog axis controls and let us *choose* which one we want to assign.

Furthermore, can you please add rumble to the xinput code so that xbox 360 controller users can feel rumble?

Thanks

EA is bad for this too actually, I ended up getting a powered hub for all my flightsim controllers for Medal of Honor, BF3 etc. so I can at least just unplug a single cable lol.
