sorry if this has been answered but i have searched up and down and all threads that i can see that are remotely close to what i need ... doesnt do the job..

i have downloaded:
http://www.maniapark.com/download/models/Lexus_LFA.zip

a car model from mania park...

i have put the zip file in:
\Documents\ManiaPlanet\Skins\Models\CanyonCar

i have also put a locator file called:
Lexus_LFA.zip.loc

in that file i have the URL:
http://www.maniapark.com/download/models/Lexus_LFA.zip

the model works fine for me in game.
but no one else can see my model, at the same time i have only ever seen like 2 other custom models in game....

so what am i doing wrong? everything is turned on because i can see some other models... the majority are grey standard models.

so why cant people see mine?
and why cant i see the majority of others?

Please check your firewall settings, to allow P2P transfers, and also check your game network settings accordingly.
And search for "skins" and also "locators" in the forum.

This is going to sound immensely stupid, but where exactly is the in game configuration for networking? I dont see it in stadium at all.

Make sure your P2P port is forwarded to your computer in your router as well, and make sure your computer's firewall doesn't block that connection too.
