The 3D-Styles of Manialink, introduced with one of the last updates, do not work on servers. They do neither work, when viewing a Manialink in the ML-Browser while playing on a Server, nor directly in a Server-ML. All 3D-Styles are displayed transparent, as if they are not available at all.

You can test this with viewing "Tetris3D" while playing on a server.

Additionally, please fix the light problem when opening Manialinks after game start before entering any title, see screenshots below. The 3D-Styles are not usable as long as this bug exists.

Additionally, positions/size of the elements seems to be slightly different. Compare the free space below the "Close" label: It is much bigger outside of the Server (first screenshot) than on the server.


"Tetris3D" before entering any title (after launching Maniaplanet), light problem makes Manialink unreadable.
(I already reported this one before, but wanted to add it again as both bugs involve the 3D-Styles.)

I can confirm it... I also got this issue on my manialink.

There is also a sound bug: If i join my manialink (just after launcher, before entering any title) and try to listen the preview of a horn (for example) the sound is very low

Sometimes its getting the proper style. Sometimes it isnt.

On our manialink we have added a default stylesheet so it should work fine on the Manialink home.

i tried that too and it doesn't work

I want to add other situations, where the processing of the 3D-Styles is not correct:

If you add a ManiaLink using 3D-Styles to a Title as replacement of the menu, you get the same situations as on servers: 3D-Styles do not exist, they are all transparent.

Additionally, the positions are slightly wrong. On the screenshot, you see that the Donat-links are nearly at bottom of the screen, yet in the ML-Browser I still have some place left top add an additional box there.

Furthermore, when opening any Manialink within the title, then the two Manialinks are displayed conflicting each other: The first from title menu stays, the second one opens in ML browser.

In this screenshot, you can clearly see, that the positions are wrong: If they would be correct, all Labels and Quads would have the exact same positions.


Please fix this ^^

I tried 3D-Styles on title pack yesterday, with no success. Then I found this topic now...
So, 3d-Style still doesn't work on titlepack and servers ???

yep, my title pack menus still look ugly
