Needs a complete revamp. When snapshot is over 50 the game plays like complete crap.

Maybe... just maybe... you just... can't play?...
I usually play with SnapshotDelta of over 100 and it's still a np for me. Anything over 150 feels "a little" laggy and sometimes I need to aim a little bit off the target to hit, but it's still fine. Over 200 is lagged enough to actually make me miss shots even tough I'm certainly aiming well.
In fact, I've only seen SnapshotDelta below 50 once, and it was on the only Polish server around.

The hit registration is good as it is.
But indeed , when someone times out or has a bad connection, then everybody has lags.
Everything under 75 is good for me. When its 75+ I start getting frustrated if I dont hit anything and blame the snap.
imo, the person with the best connection should have the best ping and the best gameplay. And if u have lagg, then switch internet provider or something.
Now , if u lag , u blame the game even if ur internet sucks.

And what if it's the distance that makes a difference (my ISP is just great)?

I play competitive in one of the top teams in NA with 80+ delta at all times. At around 65-75 ping, there's nothing wrong with the reg. You would be surprised how many times your rail actually doesn't hit them. Because of the way animations work in this game it can be hard to tell with constant sidestepping. If you want to see what bad reg really feels like, try playing cs:go on matchmaking servers.

I know it can go one of 2 ways :
1 : Lag compensation
2 : best internet wins
Nadeo chose #1.
My opinion is that it should be #2.
But im not complaining. However maybe there should be a pingchecker that autokicks!
--> If u have a ping above 100 , you will get kicked after a warning.
"Your ping is too high. You will be kicked"
15seconds later, person gets kicked by the server.
Omg this idea is epic

NADEOOOOOOOOO do it.

@up: are you serious?! That's the worst idea I've heard in a while.
First of all, servers are not located in every country out there, and even seemingly big country such as Poland doesn't have a single(!) Elite server. I often have to connect to servers in France/Spain/Italy resulting in ~80 ping and higher. There is just no other way. Now, just think what would happen if I'd like to join my teammates on Teamspeak or listen to music on YouTube at the same time. My ping would immediately jump to over 100 and I would get kicked. And then, no games for me. But why would it do that? After all, Nadeo did a great job with the lag compensation and I can play with no problems on Spanish servers with no lag at all; nobody ever told me I'm lagging as well.
Also, Polish average internet speed is more than 10x slower than my internet connection... so I'm still one of the ones in better position.
Not having a lag compensation is what kills competitive games. Don't think selfishly about you and your 100Mbps connection that you use to connect to servers in your own country, think about how you can make the game equal for everyone.

Hey I agree with you man.
I said im not complaining

I like the game too and I dont mind the lagcompensation. I just dont want it to be too extreme.
People with extreme pings should be kicked automatically.
BUT
I read you play with youtube on the background? Thats just stupid because you make everybody lagg a lil bit extra. You shouldnt do this. Use ur local music and your ping will stay under a 100. ( now you wont get kicked by my pingchecker :p )
+ You can rent a server and locate it in Poland.
All the servers you play on are also rented by someone else.
