[B3.1 Canyon] Editor Bug while deleting terrain 5

If I want to delete a part of a terrain 5 rock (the new rock in the water basin), let's say one corner of this mountain, the editor is most reluctant to do that.

First try: Pressing 'x' while clicking or dragging with terrain 5 at the cursor. No success.

Second try: I select terrain 4 (water) and want to place it instead of the rock corner. But neither clicking nor dragging works.

Third try: I select terrain 6 and want to drag it from outside the water to the rock corner or simply click at the terrain 5 rock corner, but in vain.

Fourth try: I select terrain 1 (the old rocky mountain). Now, when I click or drag on the terrain 5 part I want to delete, the corner is replaced by a terrain 1 tower, but with some strange side effects (some terrain 1 rocks appear around the water near the deleted corner).

I tested this one level higher, too: If I place a terrain 4 lake on top of a terrain 5 mountain and in that lake a second terrain 5 mountain it's very difficult to delete a part of this upper rock.

Expected behaviour:
Deleting of terrain 5 blocks should be possible in the same manner as with normal rocks by holding 'x'.

 If screenshots are required to illustrate this, please tell me.

Okay, I start with this simple mountain:

Holding 'x' and dragging for example 2x2 has no effect. Only a drag field of exactly the mountain area does (complete deletion, of course).

Now I want to delete only a 1x1 piece at the corner. With 'x' and left mouse click at the outer side of the corner (the water side) I will get this:

Same click, but one block to the north results in this:

'x' has a big appetite! ;)

My goal is the following (I got it only in an additive way):

In short: The behaviour of the delete function is not very predictable

Don't use the water mountain to erase the water mountain, but add just water again only ;)

Do a 3x3 on the corner of the mountain, and you're done.

Yeah, or just use the #3 terrain. The one you normaly make water with from groundlevel down.

Hmm, that's strange. As I said in my first post, erasing with water (#4) didn't work. 3x3 deleted to much terrain (I tested it again while making the screenies), smaller squares had no effect. But somehow it worked for TMarc...

But I will give #3 a try. Thanks for the answers

(Btw, what's the hotkey for making a screenshot? Be assured, I really searched the forums, searched with Google, but I only found F10 for TMU - but it doesn't work in TM2, unfortunately. Eventually I made the screenies with alt+print, but there is a hotkey, isn't it?)

EDIT: Oh, okay. Some more testing and...
1) F10 does make screenshots in Canyon, too, but only while driving, not in the editor. :|
2) Can you believe it: I tried again to delete the water mountain corner with 3x3 water and ... this time it worked  What the...
Either way, deleting also should be possible with #5 and 'x', isn't it? ;)

In the editor, screenshots cannot be made using F10, this is correct.
If you use PRINT key, then it copies the whole screen as it is to the pastebin, and you have to crop the image accordingly if required.
If you use ALT+PRINT, it copies only the ManiaPlanet window, but then in the editor the block highlighting cursor disappears (because of the ALT key ... which is used to rotate the map).

Attention with the erasing, #5 is water, and if you erase the water with X, it gives land back ;)
