1) Why is the API not json restful unified instead of php? Is there any chance you are changing this?
2) When you look under stats you can see your friends rank, but u cant see your own? Also would be nice to see their various ranks based on geo like in the game when finnishing a race.

Our API is REST(ish..). Our SDK is built on top in PHP but you can access via any SDK. For instance try directly in your browser : http://ws.maniaplanet.com/foobar/ or http://ws.maniaplanet.com/foobar/index.json

Well sh..t thats my bad! I jumped the gun it would seem, all i wanted was json API so im happy, just noticed the PHP while i was looking at the wiki and though oh noes this not gonna be fun

Regarding the ranking if im inside the maniaplanet application i cant seem to figure out where to see my rank in my local country or region or the world without going into a race and wait on finnish and then see it there.

I would have hoped i go get this information also from loggin in to the game and then selecting profile and then statestics, which is there but does not have any information on your current ranks across in the various regions like when finnishing a race. Also the statestics that are present are not really spot on i assume this is cause its beta, but would be cool to get addtional information under the statestics tab
