Is there a way to make the storm not center on the pole?

it's possible to center the storm on different blocks with the help of maniascript, but royal doesn't support that
actually i don't really understand your need of this feature... the action is going on around the pole which is basically the most important part of the map and i think that's fine
in fact i've seen maps which aren't symmetrical and it works well as always

Guess I should have clarified. I agree the pole is the most important part of the map, but I want the first part of the match to be a mad dash to the corner of the map with the pole, then running away to a different area purely for endgame dueling.

okay nice idea! sounds like fun :)
unfortunately that's not feasible right now and i fear it won't become feasible in the future
BUT i've been wrong in the past already! maybe nadeo likes your suggestion as well and will implement it :D

I thought about something that could be interesting about Royal mode :

It's a nice mod but it kinda come to be repetitive when the storm is all shrunk -> You fight around the pole. Usually the center of the map is a bit of an enclosed area...

That could be nice to have a storm with a center that would have a bit of a random path, forcing the last players to move around a bit more. The speed and the movement allowance of the storm center could increase as the last players take a long time to eliminate their oponent...

That would increase the movement during the last phase of the mod, forcing players to be more aware of their movements and placements in the environment to avoid being stuck by the storm...

I think that could be nice if well tuned. :twisted:
