Hi everyone, I really hope someone here can help me... so far this has been a painfully frustrating experience.

I am receiving the error message everytime I try and load Shootmania Elite or join a Shootmania Elite server:

Unable to connect to title.
This account this account does not have rights to perform this action.


OK, here is the steps I have taken up until this point:

1. Bought game on steam.
2. Installed game.
3. Logged in to an account I already had for Nadeo (used with TM).
4. Added key to player profile section (was accepted fine).
5. Attempted to load "Shootmania Storm" - worked fine
6. Attempted to load "Shootmania Elite" - error message above shown.

This is the same for all of the "modes" apart from the regular Shootmania Storm. I don't know if I have missed something, but it appears to me that I have missed in putting in the key somewhere or something.

This is really frustrating because I really just want to play the game. Having to go through all the steps I have had to so far kind of feels like I am back in the 90s trying to install games lol

If anyone could help me out with what I have to do to get this working, I would be really appreciative.

Since when are you trying?

You should now that at the moment, Nadeo is trying to get the ShootMania RC1 running,
hence servers have to be updated and might not be working properly.
clients updates will happen tomorrow.

Plese be patient and stay tuned

I'm experiencing this problem as well. I've loaded The Elite title, yet it doesn't let me join Elite servers. I get the same message as you.

That seems to be some really problematic and random issue : I have the same problem, but with Joust. I can play any other mode but this one, getting the very same error message. And trying to launch a joust game directly from storm does not work either. Both from steam or directly from ManiaPlanet. Does anyone have an idea what is causing that? Or any magic solution?

I'm having the same problem, with the addition of not being able to add my Validation Code that I got in the mail to my player account ... So basically im stuck on Battle mode and thats it.

Yep. Same problem here. It says my validation code is invalid so I am stuck in Battle mode too:< I hope they inform something about this problem soon!

If you restart maniaplanet, does it fixed your issue?

I've tried it yesterday, and today, a few times ... can't get it to work.

Not at all, in my case. Having the problem since yesterday, actually the time I started to play. All updates are done (slowly, but they're done), and the computer has been rebooted twice. Is it a problem with the account? Is there any restriction of any nature on some modes (rank or anything else)?
