TM Valley - How about Motorcycles?

These seem a natural fit for rallying through the dirt.
The only 2 problems I can see are:
1. Since the motorcycles include the rider as well, would motorcycles need a huge number of meshes for different body types?
2. Would motorcycles perform differently? Perhaps having a higher top speed and acceleration but being more unstable.

I think the idea of Motorcycles would be cool but I think a new environment style solely devoted to bikes would be needed to do it right. An all terrain type bike would be fun for high speed roads and high jumping / dirt climbing off road racing. It could be a lot of fun if done right
There are so many cool ideas for new environments out there I kind of wish they could get the base software of Maniaplanet working smoothly and move more into creating new environments. I was hoping Valley would be at least in beta by the beginning of this year (after all much of it was done before Canyon) but it is taking a while because of other projects. Does this mean that after SM is released and they start working on QM it will be an even longer wait for a third environment in TM²? I hope not. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of SM and QM, but I'm kinda thinking they might have been better off done by separate development teams and not all part of "Maniplanet".

As far as I understand, Maniaplanet is the base/platform/engine of the whole thing which includes the track and paint editors, mediatracker and manialink system. As soon they've got that right I asume it's not that hard to pop out new environments/games anymore.

I agree with you Zarexz and I understand your feeling Omnixor.
The original hope of Nadeo was to release a new environment every year for each platform (TM, SM, QM). However, the reality is becoming far from that. Canyon came out in 2011 and it's now 2013.
I do still have faith though that once things are fine tuned in MP production will start to flow better.
My apology to bluemist1 for getting off the topic.
I'd like to see Motorcycles in a future environment but Valley is already Rally. What might be cool thought is if they added two or three car types to each environment in the future (to choose before editing) each with different physics. Then, they could put a Motorcycle in Valley!

And that's the point why they have done so many betas for Shootmania.
At all, I am proud of the release of Shootmania compared to the Alpha Beta of Shootmania. Just the fact that this game has become improved a lot!
Without all those betas, Shootmania wouldn't become such popular! Trust me!

motorcycles would be very cool instead of all these cars. It would increase the level of fun a lot just because of the choice to select a car/motorcycle!
Diversity is always good.. so why not?

I think all current environments are recyclable if only the physics change to mototcycle. Would give a whole new dimension to the game.
Buuuut as some say, let's get the promised environments done first.

Nothing new to the game, cause they were already available for TMUF. (see link)
So if u can find a clever guy who can convert this to TM2-Canyon and/or Stadium u have it!!!!
All u need is someone which can create these 3D-modells.

That bike has the wrong gamebox. With that you crash into the walls without touching them. The physics need to change too.
