Hi,

When trying to hear to different horns the sound triples of all songs.

It seems the game cant update it self when another song is activated.

This was posted in Beta2.0 but the topic was locked.

Problem is that if you play 1 horn and during the duration of play switch to another horn the sound of the 1st mixes in the 2nd etc.

yeah, as horns are meant to be short in fact, it seems it was not chosen to stop the sound if you select a different horn.
So the workaround is simple: don't use music, only short sounds.
Or use horn sounds that make a chord, then it won't sound bad

The appropriate bugfix would be: stop playing the previous sound buffer whenever a new sound is chosen.

I'm not sure if this was fixed, but a similiar issue also happened in MT with sound handling, when you played it and pause the replay, then possibly engine sound was looping endless.

I'm guessing the whole sound engine is a bit of a mess. I've encountered some more unexpected sound behaviour inside the mediatracker. Maybe you could write about your issues there. Good way to bump the post and bring it under Nadeo's attention.

Also when selecting a horn and press open it seems to keep playing for me still it stops.

Additionally, Profiling can be done with CTRL+ALT+F7 where you can pause the profiler and see where the spikes are or at low. Take a printscreen and describe your problem and actions what you do.

Not sure we can do it in next update (engineer available) but thanks for the detailed feedback.

Next update 2.2 not fixed: so i will be patiently waiting.
