[Editor] Double right click turns block once

In TMUF/TMNF if you double right click quickly it will turn the block twice. This is great for people who are very fast at using the editor. It's the desired functionality.
In TM2S/TM2C/SMS, a double right click will only turn the block once. It can be annoying for people who are used to building in TMF. Furthermore, it makes the editor feel less responsive.
Can this be fixed?

yeah, this could be annoying if you only use the mouse or a gamepad to build your tracks.
But if you're used to use the keyboard, it is not a real issue.

now that's DAMN weird, ctrl doesn't lag at all. I thought the lag is because of shadows calculation every time the block is rotated, seems it's not the cause.

yeah, your right. Interesting finding
Even with full performance mode of the PC, it is still slower compared to keyboard.
Btw. there is no additional key to rotate counterclockwise, but that's not a drama
And yet another strange effect:
Block 9.2.6 cannot be rotated like other blocks, it seems to have only 2 positions.
But if you take block 9-2-1, the Zeppelin, you'll see it is in fact rotated more or less properly 4 times.
However it is shifted according to its block footprint to always start or end at the cursor position, so this again seems a bit odd.
One could expect the nose of the Zeppelin should around the cursor
Same effect on all blocks with rectangular footprint.
But Block 9-2-7 is rotating around the center point of the imaginary square it is occupying.

Hum... Imagine me on an nvidia 9300m GS... I had to rightclick 5 times to rotate twice. ctrl gives no lag aparently.

seems like it's not directly caused by the editor
i just noticed that double clicks inside manialinks don't get captured, too
so it's an issue of the user interface api
//Edit: not completely true, double-clicks on 3dstyle elements don't work, they work on plain elements though

Astounding, the right ctrl key works great compared to RMB

. Good tip, thanks
I've been looking frequently for a list with "undocumented" key bindings, but without success. Are there some more keys apart from the obvious ones

you're welcome
Earlier in TM it was even the left CTRL key, which I found much more handier to rotate while moving the blocks around with the right hand on the cursor keys...
Hmm I'm not sure if there is a complete list, we should ask for it or try to found ourselves then
- Y ( on German keyboard, or Z on American keyboard) shows Underground mode.
- H is Help window
- ° or ^ (on German keyboard again, the upper leftmost key above the TAB key) goes back in the block list (e.g. after you selected 1-1-1, ° jumps back to 1-1)
- Numpad Up (or 8 there) tilts the camera downwards, Numpad Down (or 2 there) makes the camera lower again
- Numpad Left (4) and Right (6) rotate the camera to a fixed position with 90° snapping to the left or to the right
- Numpad / seems to reset a rotate block, but it is not always the default orientation as shown in the icons

- Page Up / Page Down raise and lower the cursor position, where applicable.
- Space places a block. And if you hold it and move the cursor, you can place a continuous series of the same block, e.g. street.
So you see, there are quite a few keys in the editor, we can also say that the help window simply doesn't show all, probably due to limited space. They could add a second page certainly easily there
