Hi,

The buddy list is often inconsistent as to what name to show - if a buddy logs in, it usually shows their formatted nickname, but other times it shows their login.

Can you please make the game always show their formatted nickname regardless if they have ever logged in or not? If someone wants to find out a buddy's login, they can still find out by choosing a name in the list and looking at where it says "(login: ...)".

do you mean a cache that would save the last "online used" nickname and show it in buddy list or refresh if the nickname changed?

Yep - technically that's how it could work.

+1 to this. Sometimes I'm totally confused as to who is messaging me because of this...

Also, when a buddy request incomes. How should I know which person is behind the login XXXX? Would be way more convenient to show the nick. Or maybe both, login and nick.

AND while you're online it should pop up somehow as soon as you get it and not only as soon as you login the next time

I suggested something similar a while ago actually, and a few people agreed too. Definitely another little behaviour I think is needed!
And steeffeen, your addition also makes perfect sense
