How to install Valley?
How should I install valley using separate installer, but as update to existing installation? Download by website is very fast, but download ingame is slow, so I have installer, but he has no "update" option, just new installation. And I don't want to made my Canyon bad.

Installer requires special names of directories on disk!
But after all, I copy everything from old directories to new ones after installation and it works.

Aside from the download speed, what is better/easier, download and installing Valley ingame or outside? Are there advantages/disadvantages?

Hi,
you can of course add TM Valley to another station (in the game) and just enter your KEY when asked. TM Valley then get´s downloaded into the right place.
Kind regards!

There were too many players downloading Valley yesterday evening that's why it was slow, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Now that the rush is over, it should run smoothlyrat_in_car wrote:download ingame is slow

Important thing is that you should made "upgrade" option in your installer - should check if Canyon/Stadium/Storm is installed and using the same directories to install.

Actually, it should behave as you say : if there's a previously installed version, it should detect the path and add the new files without problem. Pressing "Next" all the way should do what you request.rat_in_car wrote:Important thing is that you should made "upgrade" option in your installer - should check if Canyon/Stadium/Storm is installed and using the same directories to install.
But I agree it may lack user feedback, because the installer does not inform that a previous installation was detected.
On a side note, if I'm not mistaken, the setup always overwrites base system files even if they've been upgraded since previous install. (This allows our setups to repair installations if a file get corrupted). The downside is that : if your setup is older than installed version, system files will be updated again after upgrade.
