Hey there,

I have a problem with painting my Skins in Trackmania² Stadium,

whenever I go to Editor -> Painting Skin, I choose a random skin (e.g. Algeria) and paint in a different way. After than I try to save it (Save As..e.g. "test1") and heres the problem, immediatly after I saved it, the skin in the background turns back to the original (in my example, Algeria) while the little picture below still shows the new custom skin.
Anyways when i try to go to Profile -> Skins its the same, i see the new custom skin in the little picture below and the original "overwritten" skin in the background....If i choose it i will see the Original skin while driving..

Can someone help me? Tried reinstalling such as making the Skin-folder overwriteable allready, diddnt change a thing...

I have the same issue.
It was already there a long time back, then was fixed, and came again with the latest version (Valley release or update).

In the skins folder, you can see *.tmp files, of the failed renaming of the saved skins.

Well it worked for me with trieng ~20x "save as.." under different names. Done in windowed mode while I had the folder open next to it so when I saved the new files again and again I saw that its a different size now. So I changed the file to read-only and left the editor and see there it worked.

hm is it a coincidence?
I also tried it most of the times in windowed mode.
But it can't be one need 20 tries to save the file, or has to make it read-only
