It is as terrible as a flash game. Please adjust it...
As well as the sliding on road surface, I'd rather hit wall than brake to slow down.
Nothing else to say...

This is called challenge, all you need to do is to master the roads, do not let the roads to master you. (also just stop pressing the acceleration button while on a curve to make a sharper turn, it have a better effect if you brake a little before that)

No, this is called fake difficulty, since the challenge doesn't come from the game itself, but from bad controls, and I don't think Nadeo did that on purpose. I agree this issue should be fixed.

It's not the game's fault if you don't know how to drive.

One can argue if the dirt handling is realistic or not (after all it's an arcade game, not a simulation), but I don't think the controls are bad. The controls are very responsive (to responsive for some), so the challenge is intended by the game itself.

It just takes some time to get used to. I've seen people using all types of controllers playing well on the dirt. It is possible, you just can't expect to do it on the first try.

First i was like what the heck when i tried dirt. It took me 3-4 days to drive comfortable dirt. if track is well excecuted and gives enough room, you can drive dirt very flowy and fast.
But one thing i have to agree, it is very, VERY unforgiving. You lose lots of speed just for fixing your driving line to get next corner. If your keyboard tap was just a bit too much and you try to do 2 fixes back and forth, you are gone. Its very perfect or nothing to drive, no room for errors
But in a weird way i like dirt, but one problem is to see under shadows. Shadows are too black and usually cant see where the road ends from further away. This is imo big problem with the game, too much dark spots because of too dark shadows and backlight effect. We need normal lights, floating lights and specially floating item object lights to place where ever need to guide the driver more

I would say the offroad handling is quite nice, if I compare to e.g. Colin Mcrae Rallies (which should be the example for Valley offroad)
But I have to agree that a tiny tiny correction for keyboard would be needed, so a sharper turn (or a driving line correction) shouldnt give that much penalty.
I love offroad

Finally smth different in TM
