[Update#2.1] Can't skip intros in Multiplayer[fixed]

So, since this 2.1 update, we can't skip intros anymore by pressing any key. This is very bad, as an author could make a map with an intro that does not end on its own, thus locking everyone into the intro screen until the timelimit is over.
I, and other users on my server, discovered it after the update tonight.
I'm still running 2013-07-03 on the server (will update soon). But someone else said they updated their server to 2013-07-11 dedicated and are still experiencing it. So this is evidently an issue with the client update.

Workaround is to press DEL (retire) and ENTER (respawn) at the same time while intro is playing.

I can confirm that. I also heard from our ShootmaniaSmurfs its in Shootmania as well,
so all envies (SM included) have the intro-bug!!
It appeared on our updated servers and it appeared this morning on the not yet updated server from Eyebo so it must be the clientupdate indeed.
I tried it on our ROC server as well, and its really tricky in rounds to start on time even with the work-around!
Thinking about some nice competitions this weekend and ROC of course i hope it can be fixed soon !

After the clientupdate to 2.1b unfortunately the trouble with the intro is still in TM (Valley, Canyon and Stadium) and in SM. I tested it in servers with the older and the latest dedicated (12-07-2013)

Is it a new hidden serverside function? "SkipIntroAllowed" with default setting to false?

This happens to me too, pressing delete and enter doesn't help.
SkipIntroAllowed should be perma disabled, just saying

Is this problem will be solved in a next update?
When i press DEL+ENTER at the same time, i skip intro, but i skip Warm Up too
