Hi, I'm having a problem with shootmania; when I launch it, the game says that I'm not connected (but obviously I am).
Yesterday it works fine but now I have this problem.

On Internet Explorer's File menu is a "Work Offline" item that toggles Internet Explorer between online and offline modes of operation. Please check if Work Offline is not selected.

Not trying to join the flood of Steam Sale newbies here but I'm having the same issue. I've searched this forum best I can as well as other places.
Maniaplanet says I'm not connected (when other internet required services and software is working fine) so I assume the issue is there...I've looked around at port forwarding options etc...no luck
But even so if I want to play off line...it acts like I haven't even installed the game (TM2: Canyon) yet. Shouldn't I be able to select offline and then just play my game? I says "Do you want to Load.." i click "Yes/Load" or whatever and nothing happens.
So after some researching I see people saying this happens alot after an update...am I wasting my time trying to resolve this on my end or should I await another patch to see if things start working again?

As mentioned in another thread ...steam must have done some stealth update because its working now with no changes on my part.
