Shootmania problems

I have a lot of stuttering problems on Shootmania.
I was ministuttering when i was on 100+ fps, and i understood 'cause for instable fps, and 60hz Freq.
So i've set frame cap at 60, and with a bit of tweaks was a little better, but not enough.
I'm trying hardly to reinstall this game. Tips? This ministuttering is really annoying, it would be perfect to have a fluid situation on the screen.

Please give more information about your setup.
Stuttering can be caused by many things :|

Actually i'm playing on this config:

Intel core i5 650 3.20Ghz
Sapphire 6870hd
4gb Ram.

It's a provisional config, just for the italian lan and for waiting a new pc.

disable auto-throttle of the CPU and reduce the resolution and the anisotropic filtering, also don't use AA.
Check if you're running real fullscreen or windowed-fullscreen.
Also reduce the network bandwith utilisation of ManiaPlanet.

How to disable auto-throttle?

it depends on your setup. There are system utilities for your mainboard,
or you change the setting in windows power options.

Tried on power options, and stuttering seems to be lower than usual, idk really if there is or not, should play more, but thank you, maybe you let me go on lan without stuttering! :D

Updated: i've still got stuttering. Not a big stuttering, but is a bit annoying.
A HDD defrag would be good for fix it?

If you have a SSD, defragmentation is not required and also not useful.
You could clean the cache, but this would also possibly lead to some stuttering caused by P2P and sign downloads.
Try to find out if your system is overloaded, e.g. reduce the resolution and video settings.

I play on very low settings, and at 1920x1080 res., and i play on 160 fps, generally.
with other games this never happens, and i play other games often at max settings, or almost.
