As many of you know in trackmania forever there isn't any "official" trackmania website for mods
in tmf there's one for skins (tmcarpark) and another for tracks (tm-exchange) even another for tutorials (former tm creative)

with the release of trackmania 2 many people will go start playing with the files in the game and new mods will start to appear, so we will not gonna wait so long to see snow on canyon

so the main question is this:
will be there any mod host website for trackmania 2 mods? or more important: for all mania planet games?

it would be nice but i know that it would be hard too since mods are really long files :S

I am planning on creating a subsection for mods on my upcoming trackmaniax.com website.
No concrete plans yet though, currently in the site design stage.

Please keep this thread updated! I am very interested in this and hope to see some crazy awesome environment mods for TM2! AN F-ZeroGX/WipeOutHD-inspire mod would be BANANAS!!!!

There used to be http://www.tmmod.info/ but it died long ago.

Just former in name, it's now at http://www.mania-creative.com/ .

Don't know of any, or any plans for a site dedicated to mods. Would indeed be nice to see one emerge.

There is a Mod hosting website from the RPG Community: http://www.vinummusik.de/Trackmania/

Perhaps after some time in Trackmania² there will come some Mods for Canyon too =)

It'd be nice to see a new mod host website. The only problem with hosting mods is the traffic limitations. With mods varying in size, it can be costly in the long-run. If TMX or MX had the bandwidth capabilities, we'd definitely open a mod exchange.

If implemented in Maniaplanet, a p2p modsharing system could spread out available mods, take the installation routing and minimize the per user traffic.
With a nice interface (and a Moderator-Crew) u could do toplists and whatever u want.

The only thing with this is:
Nadeo would need to adopt this idea and implement the basic networc issues etc...
Perhaps in a later release

Maniapark (the future of Carpark) will include mods, we think it's normal to group this and things like 2D and 3D creations into one website
