Hello, About 1 year ago I bought TM2 Cayon and all works great I also make my server for multi. I played for about 3 months and now I wanted to go back to the game. I have problem because when I logged in to my account it shows me I need to enter my key again to have access to the game and when I entered my key again it shows me information "Key registration failed. This game key is not activated." I tried enter my key to the steam (because when i bought the game I didn't enterd my key to the steam) and it's works. Anyone can help me ?

Are you sure it was not written "Key registration failed. This game key is already activated." ?

Are you sure you have used the correct login?
When you have installed the game, select "Connect using existing account" and give your "old" ManiaPlanet login there, because normally the key has not to be entered again.
You do not need to create a new user again - just to be precise.

If you try to add your key at the player page https://player.maniaplanet.com/account/player-keys,
it should give you this message: "You have already activated this key."

If the issue still persits, please get back here

Try to download Canyon from https://player.maniaplanet.com/account/downloads and choose the
"ManiaPlanetTMCanyonSetup.exe" file, if the file exists on your account

You probably had installed the older setup, but this has been updated a few times in between.

Yes I'm sure, I'm using the correct login because when I logged in to https://player.maniaplanet.com/ I see on my buddy list there is one friend from TM2.


I tried add my key at https://player.maniaplanet.com/account/player-keys and it shows "This game key is not activated."

Strange. Where did you exactly purchase the key?

I bought key from shop auction at allegro (it's polish auction site something like ebay) I have proof of purchase. Like I said in first post the game works fine for 3 months or even more I don't remeber how long I've played.

I can send You my key or proof of purchase in PW if is needed.

I fear that already used keys cannot be used anymore.
Or the key was originally from a bundle with Intel CPU - there the key was valid for 1 year only.

Is there any chance to check my key ? Like i said it was shop auction they have many keys so I think this key shouldn't from a budnle with Intel CPU and also I think steam shouldn't accept my key because today I added my key to steam.


I have read on another forum it could be problem because my server account use the same key as orginal account but I dont remeber my login to my server account

In Steam, did you use the same login for ManiaPlanet?
It is very strange that you can use the key there successfully.

With the server account: is the server still running at the moment?
