Nadeo doesn't give a f**k

Hey there,

as I'm playing TM for 7 years and organized a lot of events, I've never had any help from Nadeo or Polish TM developers. That was OK when Nadeo didn't have any incomes from the free TMN/F titles. Now you're part of Ubisoft and selling ManiaPlanet titles and you still don't give a f**k about our community. I know it didn't make you a rich company, but all I was asking for were the game keys, which doesn't cost you anything.

There are a few people, including me, who want the community stay alive and so we keep doing many things for that pretty small group of players. Now, once more we have a chance for a big promotion of our game as it might be a part of Poznań Game Arena 2013, the biggest Polish game expo, being visited by 30k-40k people every year. And so I wrote once again to madame Amelie for telling me any other contact to Nadeo (monsieur Cerovan had never answered me) and still nothing happened. The event starts in 5 weeks and we can't even look for any sponsors, why? Coz we're not sure we'll be able to organize any tournament without the f**king game keys!

We're a group of friends, meeting at least three times per year and having fun with each other. PGA might be the last chance for us in this year. A year ago, the main organizer told us we were pretty good making so much noise WITHOUT ANY MICROPHONE. There was a big stage next to us and they were asking some question, trying to be funny and giving many gadgets, ex. shirts, caps, etc., involving many many people. But that was f**king boring.

What was it like in the previous year? There was a lot of people watching us:

We had a group of fans :D

But during the finals we were pretty focused, coz...

Life is the game:

This year we met only twice, but, as you can see, we were pretty happy of that:

Trying to provide some TA matches:

And team-mode matches:

I'm still asking for at least 12 TM2S and 12 SM keys, which means !$0€! (in words: zero f**king dollars or euros) loss for you and your game titles will get promoted for thousands of no-lifers for free.

I'm really sorry for the aggressive tone used in this post, but I can't see another chance to draw Nadeo's attention in this case.

Best regards,
ShaDDy

Does not seems to be more likely for me to give you any more attention if you behave this way ...
But you might want to give the topic a more sense full name.
E.g. "Request for temporary LAN keys" Or "Promoting the game on a local LAN, Request for keys"

Strange is also you only refer to Cerovan and Alinoa but nowhere the email accounts or so.

The information in my point of view is just to show how much fun you have had.

And not the real manifesto for a greater good.

No, guys, sorry, me and few other people, we were pleasant and were sending requests all the time and we have NEVER received any help. Always no answer, they never even said "no", just no answer, just a dead silence.

And it's not a small local LAN, omg. It's the biggest Polish event for years in TM, right after WCG and ESWC quals. The whole expo is being held on 18,000 square metres. Last time there was 320 acredited journalists.

@w1lla, I wrote about Alinoa who gave me the contact e-mail and so I wrote there too, isn't it obvious? Anyway, that topic is directed to Nadeo (not to you) and they know about that mail very well, they just never answer. And yes, my intention also was to show how much fun we have when meeting. Coz if we were a group of nolifers without any interests, we wouldn't want to come back on the events and our community would already be dead.

I think that you have an answer from maniaplanet@ubisoft.com, which is now the email address for sending all sponsor requests as W1lla told you. I understand that you are eager to receive an answer because you are running a great event. By the way I really hope you will enjoy it. However please also understand that sometimes some reply can be delayed especially when some members are in holiday.

The answer came from Cerovan's mail. And yes, I saw that him (and you also) were not logging in here for few days till yesterday. I'm sorry once again and I hope we all want to keep this game alive (?!).

Well. Looks like Nadeo gives a f**k.

Imagine that.

I guess it's good for you that they didn't take the same tone in return.

Yah, the problem with that tone is that it doesn't exactly make people want to help you... even if they would have an implicit interest in what you're doing.
I understand why you took the risk, but I think there are plenty of other, better ways to attract attention. Using f--- for every second word isn't exactly novel anymore.
